I was a double major at Skidmore, Anthropology and Elementary Education. While archaeology was my absolute passion at a very early age, I chose education as my profession. It's no doubt kismet that I work at a culturally diverse Title 1 school, every day relishing opportunities to interact with kids who come from all over the world. Better yet, I get to teach American History. I love creating activities that introduce kids to history, archaeology, and understanding the past. Even though I never went into the archaeology field, I still feel it everyday - and with those essential few summer months to recharge, I get to go to places like Egypt, Peru, Cambodia, and Guatemala. Archaeology and anthropology are very much alive in my life. Comments are closed.
